The following newsletter outlines the news from the
Superstructure Group AQD team for October/November 2007.
A warm welcome to our new customers who have joined the AQD family - CTC
Aviation, Cyprus Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Swissport. As our
customer list continues to grow we are pleased to see a broader market adopting
AQD as their software of choice for safety and quality management. CTC
Aviation is using AQD to train pilots on best practice safety management and
Swissport is our first ground and cargo handler to license AQD.
With over 70 customers using AQD we are the world's leading
supplier of safety and quality management software having doubled our customer
base in the last 3 years. Click
here for a profile of our customers in the News section of our website.
Our launch event at the IASS Conference in Seoul, Korea in
October was a great success. The function was well attended and enjoyed
by over 70 aviation safety specialists. Attendees were treated not only
to local cuisine and good wine but also to a demonstration of AQD integrated
with Aerobytes FDM system.

Data/SMS product offering please click

Most of our customers are now actively engaged with their Account Manager for
planning upgrades to the new release, arranging additional training and seeking
advice on how to better utilise AQD in support of their daily operations.
If you are not in contact with your Account Manager please email Eddie Rogan at
eddie.rogan@superstructuregroup.com.
Spread the word! We are extending our consultancy
capability to offer advice on setting up and optimising a complete Safety
Management System for airlines. We have engaged several industry
specialists with extensive knowledge in this area.
The service is not exclusive to our customers and is relevant
for airlines that may not have all their SMS procedures and manuals in
place. Our Aviation Solutions Director, Eddie Rogan, has been lecturing
at the London City University on SMS for several years now and has noticed how
much confusion still exists on this subject. If you want to know more
about our consultancy services please contact Eddie at
eddie.rogan@superstructuregroup.com.
Regionally focused events are an important part of our
continuing dialogue with our customers and prospects, and ensure we keep
abreast of trends in the industry as well as sharing the knowledge gained from
our market leadership position. Reinforcing this is Eddie's recent
election to the Icarus Committee which is made up of internationally recognised
aviation specialists and acts as a think tank for the Flight Safety Foundation.
Following the three
regional product workshops we hosted earlier in the year we have presented to
members of the South American Flight Safety Committee in Sao Paulo and the
newly formed Gulf Flight Safety Committee in Sharjah. Our industry
representatives regularly attend the UKFSC and GFSC.
A schedule of regional events is being prepared
for 2008. If you know of a regional safety forum that would benefit from
an AQD/SMS presentation we would like to hear from you.
We are delighted to announce that 6 customers are now live on the new
release of AQD. A further 6 customers have evaluated the release and are
planning their upgrades. Twenty more customers are scheduled to receive
their release over the next 2 months.
A very special thank you to Monarch Airlines who were the first
to install AQD version 6. We worked closely with Tony Wride and his team
during the acceptance testing phase and we were pleased to see how smoothly
they upgraded to the new release.

Please send an email to
aqd_support@superstructuregroup.com or contact your Account Manager to
discuss your plans to upgrade to AQD version 6.
AQD currently has a number of additional modules that many of
our clients rely on to support their daily operations:
-
Web Interface for entering reports via the
web
-
Remote Workbench for recording the results
of an audit or investigation remote from AQD
-
Offline Capture for capturing reports
remotely without connection to the internet or AQD.
New modules being released are Flight Data
integration and Automatic Email Alerting, scheduled for early
2008. Plan now to include these modules in your budgets for next year!
Please contact
aqdinfo@superstructuregroup.com if you are interested in purchasing any
of these modules. For more information click

Planning is well underway and initial design specifications have
been completed for the next phase of development under our Product
Roadmap. We have been able to be flexible in the priorities we set based
on customer demand and we expect to release the interface to Aerobytes FDM
ahead of schedule.
Our product vision is to deliver AQD as a
web-based integrated safety management system incorporating safety, quality,
security and risk. The initial phase is to extend our web-interface
capability to offer findings, causes and actions via the web. This will
open up AQD to a wider number of users and reduce the overhead of IT
deployment. Watch this space!
