News and updates from the Superstructure Group AQD team up
to January 2011.
A warm welcome to all our new customers who have recently joined the AQD
Customer Community. The breadth and depth of customers using AQD
continues to expand with the addition of:- Pegasus Airlines from Turkey, LAN
Airlines and TACA/Avianca Airlines from South America, CAE from Canada,
Afriqiyah Airways from Libya and Pfizer Aviation in the USA. AQD is used
by over 110 companies across 5000+ aircraft in 50 countries.
New customers commented on the functional superiority of AQD
over other systems and that the process AQD follows is very strong. In
particular, TACA liked the capability of AQD as a fully integrated solution
linking Safety, Quality and Risk with the ability to manage multiple
AOCs. All selected AQD after extensively reviewing the market and
evaluating a number of systems in a formal tender process. Click
here for a profile of our customers in the News section of our website.
Our thanks to customers who provided Case Studies and Testimonials on their use
of AQD. These range from customers who are experiencing ongoing benefits from
using AQD for some years, to customers who have licensed new modules for
immediate financial benefit, and new customers who have experienced the
excellent service from the AQD team of aviation specialists.

Milan last November. We look forward to meeting you at the EASS in
Istanbul 1-3 March.
We are represented on the UK Flight Safety Committee which meets
every 2 months and participate in the Gulf Flight Safety Committee that meets
quarterly. If you know of a regional safety committee or group that would
benefit from having AQD representation then please contact us and let us know.
AQD is the platform for managing your risk-based SMS
program. Risk Management is at the heart of AQD. It is designed for
organizations that want to take a risk-based approach to safety management as
defined by ICAO, and integrate proactive and reactive risk assessments within
their daily workflow processing using AQD.
AQD provides a consistent approach to managing risks associated
with any business activity across your organisation including changes to
operations, incident reporting, investigations and audits. By integrating risk
management into the AQD causal factor analysis and action tracking framework
already used by audits and investigations, you can leverage your existing
business practices in a cycle of continuous improvement. This means a
single repository for analysis and executive reporting across the organisation.
The latest release of AQD version 7 is available for download. AQD
version 7 represents a major investment in the AQD technology platform based on
our fully web-based Microsoft .Net deployment of AQD. The AQD Portal uses
the latest web developments and design to deliver a standard approach and
simplified interface with increased functionality across the operation.
Whilst other suppliers have chosen to deploy only on Internet Explorer, AQD
supports IE7+, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. Our decision to be
agnostic removes the barriers to adoption and deployment. In 2006
Internet Explorer commanded 85% of the Browser market whereas today this figure
is now at 58% and declining. Choice and extensibility across other
platforms are seen as the main drivers for this decline.
We urge you to upgrade free of charge as soon as is practicably
possible to position yourself for the new modules under the AQD Portal
release. For further information on the upgrade and any training
requirements, please click here
