News and updates from the Superstructure Group AQD team up
to June 2011.
A warm welcome to all our new customers who have recently joined the AQD Customer Community. The global reach of customers using AQD continues to expand with the addition of Air Mauritius, Turkish Airlines, SunExpress Germany and Volaris. Air Mauritius and Turkish Airlines are both national carriers. SunExpress Germany, operating flights between Germany and Turkey, is committed to the safest and most secure flight operating standards possible. Volaris is a well established leading low cost carrier in Mexico with a broad domestic and international network, revenue growth and consistent profitability despite the many challenges the industry has endured.
All selected AQD after extensively reviewing the market and
evaluating a number of systems in a formal tender process. Click

Our thanks to customers who provided Case Studies and Testimonials on their use
of AQD. These range from customers who are experiencing ongoing benefits from
using AQD for some years, to customers who have licensed new modules for
immediate financial benefit, and new customers who have experienced the

Our participation and exhibition at the ALTA Summit held in Mexico 13-17 June was very successful with a new customer, Volaris, choosing AQD as the software solution for managing their SMS. Many of our existing customers took the opportunity to visit us on the stand and learn about the new developments with AQD.
We are active participants in the Flight Safety Foundation Seminars and delivered two presentations at the last IASS in Milan; click here to read the report. We look forward to meeting you at the next IASS at the end of October in Singapore.
We are represented on the UK Flight Safety Committee which meets every 2 months and participate in the Gulf Flight Safety Committee that meets quarterly. If you know of a regional safety committee or group that would benefit from having AQD representation then please contact us and let us know.
Increasingly, organisations are taking an integrated approach to risk and
compliance activities, with a shift towards adding business value through improved operational
decision making and strategic planning. AQD is the leading
integrated solution that embraces the processes of safety and quality management
under a SMS, as well as managing all aspects of evidence-based compliance,
proactive and reactive risk assessments, the potential costs of risk mitigation
versus non-compliance, and initiating any corrective actions deemed necessary.
Contact your AQD Account Manager to discuss how you can achieve the benefits of
a truly integrated system with AQD.
We are pleased to announce the latest release of AQD, version 7.2, is available for download. AQD version 7 represents a major investment in the AQD technology platform based on our fully browser-based Microsoft .Net deployment of AQD. The AQD Portal uses the latest web developments and design to deliver a standard approach and simplified interface with increased functionality across the operation. Whilst other suppliers have chosen to deploy only on Internet Explorer we support IE7+, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome. Our decision to be agnostic removes the barriers to adoption and deployment.
We urge you to upgrade free of charge as soon as is practicably possible to position yourself for the new modules under the AQD Portal. For further information on the upgrade and any training requirements, please click here to contact Alan Rutter.
