Alan Rutter joined the Superstructure Team in June 2008 and is responsible for
all our AQD Customer Management activities. Alan is an experienced
business development, sales and marketing professional with a good
understanding of engineering principles and IT infrastructures.
Following 11 years in HM Royal Navy, Alan started commercial life as Service
Manager for Omicron Electronics then moved into flight training and simulation
as both an On Site Engineer and later as Regional Customer Liaison Manager. He
then became a Project Manager with British Aerospace Ltd. His last 16 years
have been in Aviation information management with the top three aviation B2B
procurement services, ILS, Cordiem & Partsbase, looking after the EMEA
region.
In his position as AQD Account Director Alan is responsible for a team of
aviation safety, quality and IT professionals who ensure the successful
implementation and training of AQD, and the ongoing first class management and
support of our customers on a global basis.
Alan has a Masters in Business Administration & Information Management and
a City & Guilds in Control Engineering & Industrial Electronics. He is
a keen golfer, enjoys yachting and is able to converse in Italian, French,
Spanish and German.
