As Software Development Manager, Jens is responsible for all aspects of the
software product development and release processes.
Jens is an experienced software professional having worked in roles ranging
from support engineer, service architect, senior developer, team lead and
project manager. He specialises in C#, but has a vast and wide variety of
programming language background. Jens has spent much of his working career with
Siemens in Germany, working up to a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Team
Leader for the development team. In this role he did the project planning and
assignment of tasks for the development team, and ensuring solutions were
delivered on time.
He worked on the design and implementation of complex dynamic web applications
using the .NET Framework and C# as the programming language. This required
strong knowledge of database technologies, and a focus on SQL Server
programming (Stored Procedures, Data Transformation Systems, Database Design)
as well as the underlying server technologies (Windows 2000 / 2003, Active
Directory, IIS).
Jens has held positions as Senior Developer, Team Lead and Project Manager
before joining Superstructure.
