Superstructure Group is pleased to announce that First Air has purchased AQD, the world’s leading integrated Safety and Risk Management software. First Air, the Airline of the North, one of Canada’s largest air carriers, providing scheduled passenger and cargo service to 26 northern communities has selected AQD to support their Safety Management System. First Air extensively reviewed the market and evaluated a number of systems in a formal tender process. They selected AQD after discussions with a number of AQD customers.
John Kane, Director, Safety Management at First Air said, “Safety management is an important part of our business and AQD allows us to meet a broad range of needs across our safety, quality, and risk management functions. AQD’s enhanced risk management module will give us the ability to pro-actively manage safety risks, and maintain a comprehensive hazard registry in the AQD system. We are pleased to join the AQD user community.”
AQD is used for Safety, Quality and Risk Management by more aviation operators globally than any other software solution from international, regional and low cost carriers, through to helicopter operators and ground handlers. AQD covers all functions from accident/incident reporting, analysis, investigation, risk assessment, compliance, auditing and corrective action tracking. It has been developed by aviation specialists and is backed by over 20 years' experience in delivering aviation software solutions to regulatory authorities, airlines and other aviation related organisations.
First Air is AQD’s fourth customer in Canada; we look forward to welcoming more in the near future.
