The AQD Customer Conference hosted at Cathay Pacific’s headquarters in Hong Kong on 14 - 15 April was informative and well attended by many of our Asia/Pacific customers as well as several from Europe and the Middle East.The theme of the conference was “AQD, the foundation for risk-based SMS”. Guest speakers from Cathay Pacific and Qantas provided case studies of their implementation of an enterprise safety and quality management system using AQD. Workshops and training sessions provided delegates with updates on the latest developments with AQD, the AQD Web Portal and the Risk Management capability. There was general agreement on the way AQD is moving forward, the investment being made in supporting customers by ensuring good health checks and communication from the support team.
Delegates were able to discuss and gain a broader understanding of how they may get greater benefit from their investment in AQD, extend its use into other areas of the company and the efficiencies from having one central information repository for analysis and reporting. It was an ideal opportunity to network with colleagues in the industry and learn how they use AQD to benefit the business.
The next customer conference is planned to be held in Europe. The dates and venue will be announced soon.
