SonAir extends AQD’s customer base in Angola and demonstrates the commitment to AQD in the region. SonAir, is a subsidiary of Sonangol Group, the National Petroleum Company of Angola. Its core business is helicopter transportation services to the oil industry operating in Angola, by ferrying people from and to onshore and offshore facilities.
The company is also the first to provide direct transportation of passengers and
cargo between Angola and the United States.
SonAir’s decision to buy AQD was based on achieving operational efficiencies in their expansion and growth in Africa and Internationally. AQD reinforces the implementation of their SMS based on international standards.
